Any cat you adopt will have a much better life regardless of your wanderings. Call it Cat holic. Be wracked with guilt when you leave.

A wee novella as gaeilge?

Always a pleasure to read you. PS: this year I have been to Malta, Madrid, Mayo, Marseille, Montreal and Monaghan, and my cat didn’t seem to mind one whit.

I am also here to say: get a cat

To add to French auto fiction Michèle Bernstein. Loved both novels. And then of course Albertine Sarrazin Astragal.

"I say I’ll do this every year, but I have never to date reached the level of fatigue with my own bullshit that would prompt real action." Felt this hard.

I don't think I have ever read a better description of my issues with e-mails.

I don’t know you, but get a cat. You will laugh and cwtch every day. Even when they drive you crazy.

My father was raised Protestant and converted to Catholicism. Thanks for helping me understand why I feel guilt for lack of productivity and if I’m not suffering. 🫠 Though, interestingly, the productivity-guilt is more insidious. 🤷🏻‍♀️
